The 2017 Nissan Teana is expected to come by the end of year. Just like previous models, it will go in very wide range. While base model will cost around 24.000, top models will go up to 40.000 dollars. Main competitors are Toyota Camry, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 etc.

When it is about engines, 2017 Nissan Teana will rely on proven variants. Once again, base unit will be 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine with 175 hp and 180 lb-ft of max torque. There will be two more engines in offer. The first one is 2.0 liter 4-cylinder with around 135 horses, while the other one is a 3.5 liter V6 unit, which is good enough for 270 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. All engines are available either with manual or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

The 2017 Nissan Teana will continue to ride on the same company’s D platform, which is used for all Nissan’s mid-size cars, and also for several Renault models. On the other side, exterior will come with several design modifications. Those changes won’t be radical, but it will be good enough to attract wider range of customers. Expect to see tweaks in all areas of the car, but most of them on the front end.
When it is about interior, it is still unknown will this refresh include only some new features or some styling changes too. In any case, we at least expect to see some new, better quality materials (although current-ones are already on the very high level) in 2017 Teana.
Teana is a luxury mid-size car, which was originally introduced in 2003. So far, we have seen three generations of it and current model is present from 2013. Third-generation model is nowadays pretty much a rebadged version of Altima that is offered for North American market.
According to the latest reports, Altima will be significantly redesigned for 2016 year model, so it is expected that 2016 Nissan Teana will follow those changes too. It is expected that modifications will be made both outside and inside the car, while engine lineup will remain unchanged.
